How a Story of Survival and Resilience Became a Life-Changing Project
In 2019, I started what would become The Superhuman Saga. At the time, I had no idea how much this story would mean to me – or to the readers it would one day reach. I’d always been drawn to the idea of humanity on the edge, to the concept of superhuman potential and the challenges that would come with it. This led me to create a story of resilience, hope, and transformation in a world stricken by a powerful virus. But as fate would have it, I couldn’t have known that the world was about to change in ways eerily similar to my story.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I finished Synthetic, the first book in the series. I was thrilled with the result, but I was strongly discouraged from publishing it. With so many living through their own uncertainty and loss, I put Synthetic aside, unsure if it would ever see the light of day. It wasn’t until 2023 that I received a wave of encouragement to bring The Superhuman Saga back to life. I released Synthetic into the world, and to my amazement, it found its readers. Not only did people connect with the story – I started hearing from readers asking (and then insisting!) that the saga continue.
With a growing fanbase, I dove headfirst into writing Mutation, the second book. The experience was exhilarating; the story had lived inside my head for years, and seeing it finally unfold felt like a dream come true. And now, as I work on the third and final installment, Metamorphosis, I’m both excited and a bit in awe. The third book will be so epic in scale, I’ve decided to split it into two parts to do it justice. Finishing The Superhuman Saga will be the biggest accomplishment of my writing career – there’s no other way to describe it.
It’s been an incredible journey from the start of Synthetic in 2019, to today as I put the final pieces of Metamorphosis in place. Every challenge and moment of doubt has been worth it, and I can’t wait to share this final, epic conclusion with all of you. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey – you’ve truly brought The Superhuman Saga to life.
