Writing has always been at the core of who I am, and I’ve been so fortunate to create worlds and stories that I can share with all of you. But beyond writing, there are so many things that fill my days, inspire me, and keep my creativity alive. Here’s a little glimpse into my life outside of the novels!
When I’m not writing, there’s a good chance I’m reading. I can’t resist diving into new books and exploring worlds created by other writers, whether it’s a gripping fantasy, a thought-provoking sci-fi, or an old favorite I’ve read countless times. Don’t be surprised if you see book recommendations and discussions popping up here – I love sharing my thoughts on the latest novels I’ve picked up!
Along with reading, art has a special place in my life. Painting is one of my favorite creative outlets, and my home reflects that! My walls are decorated with hand-painted murals of landscapes, each one a small escape and a reminder of the beauty of the natural world. Creating these scenes is a lot like storytelling, only with brushes and paint instead of words on a page.
My love for animals also fills my home with life and a bit of delightful chaos! I have three cats, two dogs, two ducks, and a sugar glider who keeps me on my toes. Each one has a unique personality, and they bring such joy (and sometimes mischief) into my life. And then there’s Beatrice the Beast – my sourdough starter who is as temperamental as any pet! There’s nothing quite like fresh sourdough, especially when you know it came from your own, slightly wild kitchen science project.
Writing will always be my biggest passion, but these little pieces of my world keep me grounded and constantly inspired. I’m so grateful to share not just my stories with you, but the many things that make life colorful and vibrant. Thanks for being a part of this journey with me!
